Welcome to the
Harris Chain Sail
& Power Squadron!
We are a non-profit organization,
local chapter of the
United States Power Squadrons ®.
in the area assigned as District 23
Our goal is to promote safe boating on our waters and to ensure that every person is equipped with the knowledge needed to make responsible decisions while at the helm.
We achieve these goals by offering educational courses that teach boaters the fundamentals. After the basics are mastered, we have a diverse group of courses from silboating, paddle sports, and every aspect of power boating.
The Harris Chain has also served as a host to National educational programs. The highly accrediated Boat Operaters Certification - On The Water for the Inland Navigator segment was pioneered on the waters of Lakes Harris and Eustis.
Along with offering classes to the public, the Harris Chain Squadron also plans activities designed to bring together the community and enjoy our waterways. The Harris Chain extends a welcome to everybody willing to enjoy boating to its fullest extent.
